Art for the not so creatives!
We loved this unit study. I am so, so not an arts and crafts person and somehow, all of my kids have turned out to be uber creatives and thrive on all things art. We’ve tried all the programs and they all ended in tears, be it mine or theirs. Enter this unit study! I love that it’s more art appreciation and historical information with a sprinkling of the artist’s medium. The projects are attainable and my kids learned more about how to view art and learn new prospectives. Would love a volume 2!

Fantastic Compliment to Our Science Curriculum
Over 65 beautifully illustrated pages are packed into this Volcano Unit Study! This study goes far beyond basalt and magma formation. It explores the actual science of volcanoes, including the big ones! Like Mount Saint Helens. The icing on the cake for my son - simulating an eruption from the model volcano he built. The icing for mom - him completing the worksheet to test his knowledge!
